Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ClubGM, operated by Matt Hurley in Provo, Utah ("ClubGM", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using ClubGM you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (for example a coach, team administrator, or parent/legal guardian) to create an account. Children may not create accounts. You may add a child’s information only if you are their parent/legal guardian or a coach acting with the parent/guardian’s permission.

2. Your account

Keep your login secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Teams and roles

Team admins and coaches control who joins their team, the roster, events and settings. Team codes are private; share them only with people who should join. We are not responsible for how team organizers run their teams, schedules or communications.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add (messages, photos, player details, events). You give ClubGM a limited license to store, display and transmit it only to operate the app for you and your teams. You are responsible for having the right to post it, including photos of other people.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

harass, bully, threaten or exploit anyone, especially minors;
post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or violent content, or anyone’s private information without permission;
impersonate others, spam, or access teams or data you are not authorized to access;
attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the security of the service.

6. Third-party services

ClubGM relies on Google Firebase, Expo, PostHog and the Apple/Google app stores, and may import calendars from third-party websites you link. Those services are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party content such as imported schedules.

7. Termination

You may stop using ClubGM and delete your account at any time (My Teams → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms or to protect users.

8. Disclaimers

ClubGM is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Schedules, reminders, notifications and imported events may be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable; always confirm important details with your team organizer. ClubGM does not supervise sports activities and is not responsible for injuries or events at practices or games.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClubGM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or US$50.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ClubGM against claims arising from your content or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Apple App Store

If you downloaded ClubGM from Apple’s App Store, these Terms are between you and ClubGM, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance and is not responsible for claims relating to the app, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated date and, for material changes, ask you to accept them in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
